The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Fighters Party

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, fresh DM the talented storyteller has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a diverse cast of heroes, and a thrilling plot featuring angels, demons, and dark forces increasing in power within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Revealing details for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 are included.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

Episode 3 finished on a dramatic pause and revealed the first table of heroes who will separate from the main group to begin their independent quest, distinct from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table consists of Teor Pridesire (portrayed by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), Tyranny (the cast member), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

Considering 13 cast members, it was evident from the outset that having everyone at one table would be unworkable.

Hence, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Overture, weaving together the personal journeys before dividing into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Strategists, and Questers.

The Nature of the Soldiers Table

Per the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who are drawn to a classically intense battle-oriented narrative style where diplomatic options are scarce.

At first glance, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander Halovar might look mismatched, but the actions of the latest installment make it clear why these five characters are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the group knows exactly where to proceed after a brutal opening clash with the antagonists.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose demise kicked off the campaign’s events—manipulated the enemy for his selfish purposes, breaking into the secret base, attacking the rogue, and swiping all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

The antagonist then settled his debts and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, above Dol-Makjar, with Cyd pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Additionally, each adventurer has a personal reason to depart the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, desires retribution.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the region and warns that it is a nasty place.
  • The warrior and The cleric, having resisted his house’s orders to eliminate the fighter and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their position as key figures in House Halovar could assist the team reach areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, Teor pledged a eternal obligation to Wicander for his rescue and will now go with him wherever.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are wanted by the powers that rule the city for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind dangerous:

  • Thimble and The hero are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and The healer turned against the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the clan.

This means them no alternative but to head to the northern region in pursuit of the antagonist.

Upcoming Developments

According to the recent installment’s post-show segment, we learn that the warrior group will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the cast members to round up the Questers and Strategists groups.

Viewers can look forward to discovering which characters will be assigned to which table in the season’s last Overture episode, available to watch on next week.
